Had dinner with J and the girls and their respective partners last Saturday at Chill Out, Subang Parade and finally managed to get hold of my new Lock & Lock Tea Bottle. WN brought this back in her previous trip back in October as my birthday present, but we didn't manage to meet up then and I didn't manage to collect it from her house. Thanks WN! Love it (and you too) heaps!
WN had introduced me to this brand of tupperware in June 08 during one of my Shanghai-quarter close trips back when I was still attached to the Big Blue Co. My first bottle ended up cracked mid last year after one too many times of dropping it.
So why do I love the bottle so much? Many of you will know that I love my chinese teas but detest the tea leaves that floats upwards and goes astray straight to my mouth. Blueks! So this beautiful, beautiful plastic tupperware with a metal strainer is the perfect answer to this pesky annoying problem. There are of course alternatives to this, such as the traditional ceramic/glass cups with strainers are easily found in shopping malls but normally costs a bomb, about RM50+ for a single cup. On the other hand, what I have is very very handy and mobile, selling for only RMB45, if my memory serves me correctly.
Stumbled into an unopen packet of Loong Jing tea leaves this morning and promptly packed it into my lunch bag. Yay, so can "hoi cheong" my new tea bottle.
Shout out to ST, I want my Jasmine chinese tea hor. Hmmm, since this is your last business trip to Shanghai, maybe I should increase order? More packets, more variety perhaps? :p
